We at Bark and Purr will treat your animal as our own. We will maintain an enviorment that is heathly and stress free for your animal.

Meet our Staff

Aaron and Jennifer Braun; Owners

We have been married for 13yrs and live in Portage with our dogs; Katie and Addie.  Katie is a Border Collie mix and Addie is a Blue Heeler.  They are both rescues from the Humane Society.  I like to say, "My family is adopted".  We have had many kinds of animals including wild birds, fish, birds, dogs and even a chinchilla.  We love them all!

Aaron is an I.T. Director (computers) and  I am a Medical Dosimetrist (treatment planning for radiation therapy patients).

The idea of Bark and Purr Care originated  from Aaron's Dad.  He used to come to our home every single day to give his Grand-Puppy (Sam) lunch and a potty break while we were at work.

We know that there are many animals who need the same care and we want to help you in the same way that Aaron's Dad helped us.

Cindy Braun

I am Aaron's sister.  I have a Kitty named Pierre.  He found me when his owners moved away without him.  I started feeding him because he was so thin.  The next thing I knew, he was part of my family.

I live in Portage and have done home health care for several years.  I am excited about taking my knowledge of nursing care now to the animal kingdom.

I love people and animals and there is no such thing as a stranger to me.

I can't wait to meet you and your pet!

I am Jennifer's Mom.

I live in Portage and LOVE animals!

I have always had at least one dog.  Right now, I have Cooper who is a hundred and twenty pound chocolate lab.  I have lots of Cooper stories.  To say it briefly he is a Marley dog.   Luckily, he can also be very loving.  He actually thinks he is a lap dog.  I have had  a wide range of animals fish, birds, cats, and many dogs.  Not to mention my childrens pets...who were also mine from an iguana , tiny finch, and even abondonded duck eggs we tried to hatch.

I was a stay at home mom while my girls grew up.  I have volunteered at a credit union doing loan approvals.  I also prepare taxes for H & R Block.

I will take care of your babies just like they are my own.
